About the Election Guide 2026
The Election Guide 2026 is an accessible information website that helps voters understand the Swedish election on Sunday, September 13, 2026. It is independent, non-profit, and not affiliated with any political party.
Purpose
The aim is to give voters a simple, accessible and neutral guide to the 2026 election — lowering the barriers to understanding how voting works and encouraging democratic participation.
Independence and privacy
Privacy policy
In short: the site is built to collect as little as possible. There are no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no tracking — you don't need to consent to anything to read the guide.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may briefly process technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely. This is used for delivery and security, not to identify or track you.
- Email. If you email me, I can see your email address and your message. It's used only to reply to you, is not shared, and is not kept longer than necessary.
- Sensitive data. Please don't include sensitive personal data in your message — you don't need to state e.g. political opinions to send feedback.

Accessibility is a core principle here: the site is built to work with a keyboard, screen readers and zoom, and aims to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA.
